Hand Carved Irish County Cottages

As part of our new range of handmade cottages, we are making cottages respresenting every County of Ireland and their unique colours.

Our cottages are based on the traditional thatched cottages, found all over the Island of Ireland.  We found out early on that we both loved spending our childhoods spotting these cottages on our summer trips and so we continue that tradition anytime we are on the road, wether it be on the Wild Atlantic Way, a trip through Wicklow or nipping up through our own beautiful Antrim coast.

The cottages are first carved into shape, we then engraved the door and windows followed by adding a roof made from leather off cuts. Lastly we add the carved Chimney and paint with watercolours.

As they are carved by hand, each one will be slightly different with its own personal characteristics. As these are made from natural wood, each item will have it's own awesome varying wood grain.
As this is a natural element within the wood, we cannot refund or replace items due to the wood grain itself.
